The California Public Utilities (CPUC) is hosting a virtual workshop for small and diverse suppliers to meet utility supplier diversity representatives to gain information about their supplier diversity programs and how to leverage these programs to access contract opportunities.
The workshop will give small and diverse suppliers the chance to hear directly from utility supplier diversity representatives, and ask questions.The workshop will have representatives from AT&T, Comcast, California Water Association, PG&E, San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas, and T-Mobile.
The CPUC's Supplier Diversity Program encourages utilities, community choice aggregators, and electric service providers to increase procurement from women, minority, disabled veteran, LGBT, and persons with disabilities business enterprises.
